Looking for a fun, unique, and simply magical experience for your child this summer? In this magical summer tea party, you and your child will step right into an elegant parlor with three of their favorite fairy tale princesses, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Beauty, for a fanciful children's tea party! This will be a cultural experience, and a chance for your child to immerse themselves in a true fairy tale environment in a grand, historical location. Bring your camera, because this will be a day that you and your child will want to look back on and remember for years to come!
ALL TICKET RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE BEFORE THE EVENT. WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SELL TICKETS AT THE DOOR.
This event will be a magical 90 minutes of:
- Princess meet-and-greet
- Tea party with the princesses including a tea time etiquette lesson, tea (apple juice) in a real English tea cup, and proper tea party refreshments. Each table of 5 to 6 children will have their own princess seated with them, meaning they will have intimate one-on-one time with the princess!
- Princess craft
- Princess dance lesson
- Vocal performances by the princesses
- Elegant tea themed take-home gift for child and for parent!
- Plenty of photo opportunities!
- Some history thrown in for fun!
Sarah Alleman Photography will also be at the sessions if you would like to get (as an add-on) a beautiful professional photo of your child while they enjoy the activities!
We have been given special permission to hold this event in the beautiful historic Roeder Home!
What is the Roeder Home? The Roeder Home is a grand, century old three story mansion that is currently run and maintained by the Whatcom County parks and recreation. You will feel as though you have stepped back in time when you go through the doors! We will incorporate a fun history lesson into the activities!
The Fun and Fancy Princess Tea will be held on August 8th and will have 3 sessions with 15 (children's) seats in each session.
Session One 10:00- 11:30, Session Two 12:00- 1:30, Session Three 2:00-3:30
Tickets will be $25 per child. Ages 3+. One adult ticket will be included with each child ticket.*
*Due to limited space we ask that families try to limit to one adult per child. If an additional adult wishes to attend as well, there will be a $5 charge for a ticket. This event will be a lot of fun for everyone, but only the children will be participating in the sit down tea. Parents can watch, take pictures, help their child with the craft, and will also get an elegant themed take-home gift! Parents need to stay until the end of the event.
Due to the location, only children with a ticket reservation will be permitted to attend. We are sorry for any inconveniences this may cause. Babies in arms are allowed.
What should we wear? We encourage you to have your child dress up in any dress that makes them feel pretty to help them feel more a part of the fairy tale!
